subject: [Echelon 2013] Congratulations, you are one of the Top 100 startups

Hi Michael,

Congratulations, you have been selected as one of the Top 100 startups who applied to pitch at the Satellites this year. Your startup has been selected to pitch at the Hong Kong Satellite, happening on the 9th of April.

So what should you do? Scream, shout and share this good news of course! Our kickass designer has created a special Satellite badge this year for all shortlisted startups. You will find it attached in this email. Wear this badge with pride!

As we have just confirmed the venue yesterday, I’m informing you as early as possible to help you with your preparations. Do keep a look out for more updates on our website, http://echelon.e27.co/sg2013/satellites/.

I will follow up with you again on more details regarding the pitching arrangement and some tips in the next couple of weeks. If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to drop me an email. Echelon 2013 is going to be amazing, and it’s all because of you.

About Echelon 2013 Startup Pitch Event

(via its http://echelon.e27.co/sg2013/about/ page, a quick exerpt is below:

Echelon is e27′s flagship conference. Since 2010, Echelon been attended by entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, government organizations and tech companies alike and has attracted high caliber keynote speakers, often with successful businesses of their own from around the world to impart their knowledge and passion to delegates.

Echelon is typically held in two phases, the first phase being the Satellites. Satellites were first held in 2011 and usually organized in partnership with local communities. The preliminary pitches take place during these Satellite events and selected startups will be invited to exhibit at the main Echelon conference’s Startup Marketplace or pitch on the main stage during Startup Pitches.
