An exciting today here in the Social Agent office. We launched a Weibo campaign for one of our clients – Expander, to help them get more buzz and feedback about their QR tracking system. Paula and Ollie, from Expander, got in touch with me from a Startup Weekend NZ connection and then we got right to work last week.

Paula worked with one of Social Agent’s authorized sales assistants, Jay Zheng, to translate a survey and launch it online in China end of last week.

Then we leveraged Social Agent’s weibo account (that is verified) to post a drawing of free milk powder cans for the lucky few winners.

Already in less than a day almost 2,000 comments and reposts have been submitted for this competition.

Jay and Paula are in close communication to measure the results of the campaign, working towards getting a least 100 surveys completed to see if the QR tracking system for imported milk powder and other foreign consumables will be used by the Chinese consumer.

Rock on, its a great day for Social Agent to help its client learn more about the Chinese market.
